Our staff enjoyed an excellent day out volunteering at Hamble Common with the Atkins rail team, and the Southampton Area Life Extension (SALE) project team. This conservation project is carried out in support of the Hamble Conservation Group (HCV) alongside the Eastleigh Country Rangers.
Working with local conservation specialists, the main objective of this ongoing conservation project is to promote the growth of heather and grassland to support wildlife diversity in the area.
